IIPH Bhubaneswar

Indian Institute of Public Health Bhubaneswar (IIPH-B) was established in Bhubaneswar, Odisha in August 2010, and started imparting of one-year Post Graduation Diploma in Public Health Management (PGDPHM) course for the in-service Medical Officers under Governments of Odisha & Chhattisgarh, and for selected, self-sponsored students with backgrounds in medicine, nursing, biological sciences, social sciences or pharmacy. The PGDPHM is aimed at developing an effective and efficient health workforce for strengthening the health system in the context of National Rural Health Mission. Additionally, several short-term training programmes and workshops such as Research Methodology in Health Sciences, and Implementation Monitoring of Integrated Management of Neonatal and Childhood Illnesses (IMNCI), along with themes on tobacco-free towns, health promotion, and disease surveillance are being conducted by the institute.
