The Indian Institute of Public Health Hyderabad (IIPH-H) as an arm of the Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) aims to strengthen Public Health in India. The governance of IIPH Hyderabad is managed by a locally empowered society called the Institute of Public Health Sciences Hyderabad (IPHSH)
Project Brief
The Indian Institute of Public Health-Hyderabad (IIPH-H), in partnership with Ankura Group of Hospitals, is developing a comprehensive certificate course aimed at nurses dedicated to improving maternal and child healthcare. This specialized program is designed to equip nurses with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills to address the unique and evolving healthcare needs of mothers and children. The course will cover critical aspects of maternal and child health, including preventive care, management of common health conditions, and best practices for providing holistic, patient-centered care. By the end of the program, participants will have developed advanced clinical skills and a deeper understanding of maternal and child health, enabling them to deliver high-quality care in a variety of healthcare settings, both in India and internationally. This course aims to enhance the professional capabilities of nurses, empowering them to make a significant impact in maternal and child health across diverse healthcare systems.
