Brief on the Organization:

The Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) is working towards building a healthier India. It is helping to address the limited institutional and systems capacity in India by strengthening education and training, advancing research and technology and facilitating policy and practice in the area of Public Health.  PHFI is headquartered in New Delhi with national presence through its constituent units of regional Indian Institutes of Public Health (IIPHs) and Centers of Applied Research in core public health themes. The Foundation, established in 2006 as a public private initiative, is governed by an independent board comprising of senior government officials, eminent Indian and International academic and leaders, civil society representatives and corporate leaders. Project Brief:    

The Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) is a public-private initiative that has collaboratively evolved through consultations with multiple constituencies including Indian and international academia, state, and central governments, multi & bi-lateral agencies and civil society groups. PHFI is a response to redress the limited institutional capacity in India for strengthening training, research, and policy development in Public Health. PHFI as SR is implementing the capacity building (Northern Region) and activities management for the HIV component of the GFATM for the period April 2024-March 2027. 


Deliverables:

  • Associate Coordinator has to assists all the coordinators in preparation of National Training Planner along with State wise Training load.
  • Position will assist in monitor the quality of training organized state wise and cadre wise.
  • Tracking and analysis the Pre/ Posttest along with feedback of Participants and traininers  and disseminate with NACO as well as the regional team for their feedback.
  • The Position always focus on quality based Training.
  • The Position extended support in quarterly / Half-yearly review meetings.
  • This position is based at Delhi level.
  • The position will require travel as per the need.
  • Any other work assigned by the Project Director and VP- Public Health Systems, PHFI.

Qualification:

Essential:

  • Master’s degree in Social Sciences/ MSW/ MPH/ MCA/ Statistics/ MBA

Experience:

Essential:

  • Around 3 years of experience in public health programs, esp. HIV/AIDS.
  • Experience in managing teams is preferred.
