Brief on the Organization:

The Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) is working towards building a healthier India. It is helping to address the limited institutional and systems capacity in India by strengthening education and training, advancing research and technology and facilitating policy and practice in the area of Public Health.  PHFI is headquartered in New Delhi with national presence through its constituent units of regional Indian Institutes of Public Health (IIPHs) and Centers of Applied Research in core public health themes. The Foundation, established in 2006 as a public private initiative, is governed by an independent board comprising of senior government officials, eminent Indian and International academic and leaders, civil society representatives and corporate leaders. Project Brief:    

The Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) is a public-private initiative that has collaboratively evolved through consultations with multiple constituencies including Indian and international academia, state, and central governments, multi & bi-lateral agencies and civil society groups. PHFI is a response to redress the limited institutional capacity in India for strengthening training, research, and policy development in Public Health. PHFI as SR is implementing the capacity building (Northern Region) and activities management for the HIV component of the GFATM for the period April 2024-March 2027. 


Deliverables:

  • Coordinator Online training & QA has to Extended support to the Point person / Nodal Officer of the state  SACS / DACS on identification of newly joined NACP cadres at SACS and DISHA  for their  orientation /capacity building through online training.
  • Develop training calendar based on training load and arrange online trainings for the NACP cadres.
  • Enrollment of Participants, providing right to access the NIHFW site, Hand holding support for any assistance during the course period.
  • Tracking the online trainee participants and if any person drop out in between , coordinator will contact the point person, extended support to the participants for completion of online trainings
  • Develop the data sheet of online training and update DDG-PMR, NACO on a regular frequency.
  • Position extended support in preparation of PPTs, case studies, posters etc.
  • This position is based at Delhi level.
  • The position will require travel as per the need.
  • Any other work assigned by the Project Director and VP- Public Health Systems, PHFI.

Qualification:

Essential:

  • Masters in Computer Application (MCA) / MSC-IT/ B.Tech / MSW/ MPH

Experience:

Essential:

  • Around 5 years of experience in public health programs.
  • Working experience in handling software or online trainings / Learning Management System.
  • Experience in Capacity Building activity / Training program etc.

Desirable:

  • Working experience in HIV/AIDS Program.
  • Experience in managing / leading the teams.
  • Good writing skill in English, Hindi and regional languages.
