Role and Responsibilities:

You will play a key role in assisting our state leads for planning, organising, and executing air quality, climate and sustainability related activities and campaigns in the state. This involves close coordination with different stakeholders of the city action group including the Government, civil society, doctors, academic institutions, medical associations, media, among others. You will assist the doctors in various research related activities (like data collection, and analysis) that they may undertake in the state. You will also be working under the supervision of the DFCA secretariat in Delhi to understand the larger strategic framework of the activities in the state, report about the progress on various activities and learn about the different kinds of resources to be disseminated.

Your role will encompass a diverse range of responsibilities, allowing you to make a tangible impact on achieving clean air and mitigate climate change in the state.

Qualifications:

• A passion for clean air advocacy, and commitment to driving positive change.
• 1-2 years’ experience in program coordination, preferably in healthcare, environmental advocacy, or public health campaigns.
• A postgraduate degree in Public Health (MPH), Master of social work (MSW), Environmental Sciences, or a related field. A degree in medicine (Allopathy or AYUSH) may add advantage.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with different stakeholders.
• Impressive written and verbal communication skills to represent the organization.
• Proficient in MS-Office.
