Brief on the Organization:
Indian Institute of Public Health Gandhinagar (IIPHG) is a University established under IIPHG Act, 2015 of Gujarat State. It offers courses in the field of Public Health. It also undertakes various research projects in the field of Public Health. The university is established by Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) with support from the Government of Gujarat, Department of Health & Family Welfare.
Project Brief
The project is long-term mentoring cum training program for nominated potential leaders working with Government of Gujarat. The goal of the project is to mentor and train potential leaders in hospital and public health sector. The program will include 15 days of in-person residential training at intervals of 3 months within one year with continual input of senior leadership mentoring. Training need assessment followed by content development and mentoring design will be an important segment of the project. The project is for 12 months duration. Key project activities include situation analysis in Gujarat, field assignment development, training material development, interviewing the potential leaders, connecting with mentors, liaisoning with Govt. stake holders, scheduling of training residencies, resource person management and overall management of the project.
Deliverables:
Liaisoning with state level Govt. officials & advisory board members
Conducting surveys and interviews
Scheduling and organizing meetings with Govt. stakeholders
Developing case lets, practical assignment and related training materials
Managing all the project related communications with mentors, trainees, resource persons
Writing reports
Data extraction
Communication with mentor, Trainee, Resource Person
Assist in overall coordination of the project
Any other activities/tasks as assigned by the PI or supervisor.
Qualification: Master degree in Management/Public Health/any other similar fields
Desirable: PhD in leadership area
Experience: At least 07 (Seven) years of work experience
Desirable : Work experience in leadership training in public sector, specially in healthcare, will be an added advantage
