HRIDAY, New Delhi is inviting applications for the post of Project Research Scientist-II (Medical) on a contractual basis for working on the National Health Research Priority (NHRP) – Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) project – STrategies for Enhanced Population Engagement and Health Care Seeking for Prevention and Control of Hypertension and Diabetes in India: The STEPS-INDIA Multi-Centre Study for the Jhajjar (Haryana) site.

Essential QualificationMBBS/BDS with three years’ experience. MBBS/BDS with MPH/PhD/ MBBS/BDS + Post Graduate degree, including the integrated PG degrees. Proficiency in conducting Scoping and Systematic Reviews.
Desirable Experience·       Knowledge or research experience especially in field of community engagement and population healthcare seeking.
·       Experience in project management (health related projects).
·       Knowledge of quantitative, qualitative, or mixed methods research.
·       Quantitative Research (Developing quantitative tools, data analysis).
·       Proficiency with data management, report writing, data management, and working with databases.
·       Experience in Monitoring and Evaluation.
·       Good publication record (Minimum 5 publications in the field of NCD prevention and control).
·       Excellent writing and verbal skills for communication.
·       Fluency or working level in English.
AgeUpper age limits up to 40 years
Consolidated RemunerationINR 80000+ HRA (per month) as admissible. Tenure for 12 months.
Job DescriptionUnder the guidance of PI, Co-PIs/Co-Is, the Project Research Scientist II (Medical) will:
·       Undertake Scoping and Systematic Reviews as per study protocol.
·       Coordinate with the other site PIs, Co-PIs and study team to ensure smooth implementation of the project
·       Support and train the project staff
·       Conduct stakeholder engagement meetings, workshops and consultations.
·       Supervise data collection, conduct workshops and meetings, guide on data analysis and draft manuscripts for publication.
·       Participate in the writing and preparation of scientific reports and manuscripts for publication and their submission for publication.
